Color is not the dominant theme, but balance, the fair distribution of forces, the proper measure, the expectance, the candid approaching of the artist’s glance who glimpses something more than what she sees.
After a month of exposing Ludwika Pilat’s paintings at the GArt Gallery, we continue to look beyond the wall of color and look out into these windows of light with the same emotion as the first day.
…And there
still
the waterfall over the wall,
in the void
the chandelier sinks
the sword of breath
voiceless grows
over the wounds;
uninhabited valleys,
the lives tilt in the sun
while a cherry branch
slowly hugs us and the morning
like a wave
retreats among the stones …
Due to the forced closures that we implemented during the Christmas period, the exhibition of the artworks of this very inspired artist Ludwika Pilat will continue until February 15th at the GArt Gallery.
